Top 10 Selling Cars In November 2015 — Hyundai Enters Fourth Spot
Another month, another lot of cars sold. November 2015 has seen a lot happen in car sales, where a few models have been successful, while a few have lost their position in the list. One very surprising fact is that the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which was launched recently has made an entry, while the Swift hatchback has lost its position to the Hyundai i10 Grand.
So how much did each car sell in the last month? Here is a look at top 10 selling cars in November 2015, along with the number of units sold compared to November 2014, with their approximate on-road prices.
10. Honda City
The Japanese carmaker Honda takes the tenth spot, having sold 6,342 units, compared to selling 7,252 units during November 2014. The city is the only Honda product in the top 10 selling list for November.
The Honda City is available with a choice of engines:
- 1.5-litre petrol engine (117bhp, 145Nm torque)
- 1.5-litre diesel engine (99bhp, 200Nm torque)
On-road price start approximately from Rs. 8.32 lakh (Delhi)
At number nine is Maruti's Celerio hatchback, having sold 6,956 units in November 2015. During the same time in 2014, the Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 4,926 units, which got itself the tenth position.

- 1.0-litre petrol engine (67bhp, 90Nm torque)
- 800cc diesel engine (46bhp, 125Nm torque)

8. Hyundai Eon
The Hyundai Eon is the South Korean carmaker's entry level hatchback car. The Eon competes with the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and the Renault Kwid. Hyundai has managed to sell 7,154 units of the Eon hatchback in November 2015, compared to selling 6,626 units in November 2014.
The Hyundai Eon is available with the below mentioned engine options:
- 814cc petrol engine (55bhp, 75Nm torque)
- 1.0-litre petrol engine (68bhp, 94Nm torque)

place
is
Hyundai's

hatchback,
the
Elite
i20,
which
has
sold
8,264
units
in
November
2015.
During
the
same
month
in
2014,
Hyundai
managed
to
sell
10,552
units.

6. Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The number six spot is taken by a new Maruti Model, the recently launched Baleno hatchback. Having been launched just over a month ago, the premium hatchback was quick to register some good sales numbers and sold 9,074 units in November 2015.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is on sale with two engine options:
- 1.2-litre petrol engine (83bhp, 115Nm torque)
- 1.3-litre diesel engine (74bhp, 190Nm torque)

The Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback has lost its position from the third place, as it held for a long time, and taken the fifth position. Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 11,859 units in November 2015.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift is on sale with two engine options:
- 1.2-litre petrol engine (83bhp, 115Nm torque)
- 1.3-litre diesel engine (74bhp, 190Nm torque)

The Hyundai Grand i10 takes the fourth place as the fourth best selling vehicle in India during November 2015. The South Korean carmaker has sold 12,899 units of the hatchback last month, compared to selling 8,396 units last year in November.
The Hyundai Grand i10 is available with a choice of two engines:
- 1.2-litre petrol engine (81bhp, 114Nm torque)
- 1.1-litre diesel engine (70bhp, 160Nm torque)

The third place is taken by Maruti's tallboy hatchback, the Wagon R, which has sold 13,986 units in November 2015. During the same time in November 2014, Wagon R units that were sold are 13,545.
