Team MRF & Gaurav Gill Defend Title At New Caledonia APRC Rally
The first round of 2015 Asia Pacific Rally Championship began with a bang. It was held in New Zealand and was the International Rally of Whangarei.
Team MRF has secured a one-two finish in the opening round of this years championship. They have currently won the championship three years in a row and will look at maintaining their lead.
Gaurav Gill and co-driver Glen MacNeall will be in the Skoda Fabia of Team MRF. Currently Team MRF is on top of the table with 83 points and be will eager to compete on 15th to 17th of May, 2015.
Gaurav Gill expressed, "I have special sentiments for this rally since I made my APRC debut eight years back on these very mountain roads. I still vividly remember the excitement when I first sat in the car that day."
He further added, "This rally opened a completely new world for me and I am thankful to Team MRF for having faith in me."
Rally of New Caledonia has 13 stages, which includes two super special stages for spectators. The rally consists of over 200 kilometres, which has to be completed in two days along the Pacific Coast.
