Suzuki Vitara Secures 5-Star In Euro NCAP Safety Rating

Suzuki has launched its Vitara currently only for European markets. The Japanese manufacturer plans on introducing this compact SUV in several global markets.

They recently showcased the Vitara compact SUV at 2015 Shanghai Motor Show. It is most likely to make an appearance in India as well during the 2016 Auto Expo.

Since, the Vitara is on offer in European countries, it has to go through stringent safety tests. It is to no one's surprise that the compact SUV scored exceptionally well in these tests.

Vitara from Suzuki has secured a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash test. It is the very first compact SUV to secure a 5-star rating. The Japanese manufacturer has provided Total Effective Control Technology.

Here are the Euro NCAP score secured by Suzuki's Vitara:

• In adult occupant the Vitara scored 89 percent.
• For child occupant Vitara scores 85 percent.
• Pedestrian safety is also taken in account and Vitara secured 76 percent.
• For safety assist Suzuki Vitara secured 75 percent.
