Suzuki Celerio Gets New 1.0-Litre Engine & AMT For UK

Japanese automobile giant had debuted and launched its Celerio hatchback in India primarily. It was followed by a launch in more developed markets like United Kingdom.

Suzuki now has provided the UK spec Celerio with new updates for 2015. This includes an all-new 1.0-litre engine, along with the AMT gearbox for ease of driving.

This new engine in Celerio is supposed to be the most cleanest and fuel efficient mills. Suzuki's 1.0-litre Dualjet provides 78.4 MPG or 33.33 kpl and emits only 84 g/km of CO2.

This model also gets start/stop function to further improve fuel efficiency. Suzuki is also providing a creep function, which allows the car to move ahead without stepping on accelerator, it will come handy in stop/go traffic as well as parking.

It also gets several safety features, which are not offered in India. Suzuki Celerio UK spec gets six airbags, ABS, ESP and many more features that makes it eligible to ply on UK roads.

Suzuki has not provided any visual updates to its Celerio, it only gets mechanical changes. This new engine variant is priced at 10,000 Pounds or INR 9,99,134 and is expected to make it more desirable compared to its competitors.
