Self-Driving Volvo Knocks Down Observer During Demonstration!
Self-driving cars are aiming to become the future of mobility. They can take a person from point A to point B, without the occupant even operating the vehicle.
They can take corners, speed down the highways at safe and legal speeds, slow down at stop signs, stop at red lights and even detect pedestrians and avoid them.
All this seems to be very good until during a demonstration goes all wrong and the car ends up mowing down an unsuspecting person!
That's exactly what happened in a Volvo ‘self-parking' demonstration that was held in the Dominican Republic.
Watch the video below as the car takes down a poor, unsuspecting spectator, who was standing in front of the car while the demonstration was going on.
So what did the driver have to say about this? Well, the driver forgot to turn on the ‘City Safe' mode he says!
