Sebastian Vettel Wins Race Of Champions Trophy For The First Time
The 2015 Race of Champions was won by Four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel. This year, the 2015 Race of Champions was held at London's former Olympic Stadium. Sebastian Vettel won the Race Of Champions trophy for the first time.
Previously, Sebastian Vettel participated in the Nationals Cup with compatriot Michael Schumacher for Germany. Unfortunately, Schumacher is still recovering from his injuries succumbed in a ski accident.
Sebastian Vettel defeated P. Solberg in round one and had to face Nico Hulkenberg in the next round. The finals were between Tom Kristensen and Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel also took part in the Nations Cup with Nico Hulkenberg representing Germany. Brazil was represented by Felipe Massa and Nelson Piquet Junior. Daniel Ricciardo and Mick Doohan represented Australia. England had two teams consisting of Jason Plato with Andy Priaulx and Jenson Button with Alex Buncombe.
The 2015 Nation Cup was contested in various vehicles including KTM X-Bow, Radical SR3, Ariel Atom, Mercedes-AMG GT, European stock cars, and racing buggies. The finals were set between Sebastian Vettel with Nico Hulkenberg and Jason Plato with Andy Prialux. Unfortunately, the German duo lost out to the English team for the 2015 Nations Cup title.
