Sebastian Vettel Conquers Singapore Formula One 2015 Grand Prix
Scuderia Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen dominated Singapore GP with their impressive pace. It was after a long time that Ferrari took pole in the turbo era of racing.
Sebastian Vettel made the most of his pole position and maintained his lead into turn one. Daniel Ricciardo and Kimi Raikkonen also maintained their second and third places.
Mercedes duo, Hamilton and Rosberg seemed overwhelmed and did not display their usual pace. Unfortunately Hamilton's weekend was cut short as he had engine issues and was forced into retiring his car.
There were two occasions when safety car was deployed at the Marina Bay Street circuit. First one was for clearing debris from Hulkenberg and Massa colliding and second was due to an individual taking a walk on track.
McLaren-Honda was confident of securing points at Singapore GP. Fernando Alonso after breaking into the top ten was forced to retire, while Button followed his teammate with nine laps to go.
Next race is scheduled to be held in Japan on 27th of September, 2015. It will be interesting if Scuderia Ferrari can maintain this pace and challenge Mercedes powered cars.
