Rolls-Royce ‘Dawn’ Is The New Sensuous Drophead Launching Next Year
Rolls-Royce is a name that is synonymous with premium luxury. The brand is in a league of its own and competition comes from its own product range.
They have now announced the name of its soon to be unveiled Drophead model. Roll-Royce will christen its all-new sensuous drophead as ‘Dawn'.
The luxury brand has used the name Dawn previously as well. It is one of their most rare models, as only 28 of them were handmade. This unique and rare model was made between 1949 to 1954.
Here are the technical specifications of Rolls-Royce Dawn:
- Engine: 6.6-litre, V12 twin-turbocharged petrol
- Horsepower: 624
- Torque: 800 Nm
- Gearbox: 8-speed automatic, Satellite Aided Transmission
Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Chief Executive Officer, expressed, "Dawn is a beautiful new open-top motor car with a name that suggests the fresh opportunities that every new day holds - an awakening, an opening up of one's senses and a burst of sunshine."
He further added, "It will be the most social of super-luxury motor cars for those beautiful people who wish to bathe in the sunlight of the world's social hotspots."
Rolls-Royce will be launching its drophead Dawn model early next year. They plan on showcasing and debuting this masterpiece within 2015, prior to its launch.
