Renault Talisman Unveiled For Global Markets; Will It Come To India
French automobile manufacturer Renault has unveiled its upcoming sedan for international markets. Renault has christened this new model as the Talisman.
The Talisman will replace the Laguna sedan, which was on offer in several markets. Renault will commence selling this new model in several countries by 2016.
Renault will be showcasing the Talisman sedan, alongside an estate version at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show on 17th September. People can personally see the car during this period.
On offer by Renault will be three diesel and two petrol engine options for the Talisman. The manufacturer will also be providing an AWD system, along with active dampers.
The Talisman will also offer driving modes like Comfort, Eco, Neutral and Sport. It will be a premium offering by Renault and will be offered to customers only in top variant during its initial launch phase.
Laurens van den Acker - Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Renault, said, "We are proud to be unveiling the Talisman, Renault's new four-door saloon. The Talisman is generous in its exterior proportions, in its cabin space and in the passenger comfort it offers.
It is unclear if Renault would bring its Talisman sedan to Indian shores. If they do it will be a premium product and will be positioned against the Skoda Superb and Volkswagen Jetta sedans.
