Renault Lodgy Stepway To Launch In India During June
French based automobile manufacturer, Renault India has a wide range of products on offer. The recently launched their very first Multi Purpose Vehicle in the country.
Renault had christened its first MPV in India as ‘Lodgy', which was advertised and promoted as the ‘Most Lodgycal Vehicle For Indians'. They had promised to launch a more premium version called Stepway.
Now the French manufacturer will launch its Lodgy Stepway in India during June, 2015. It will be available only in their RxZ variant of Lodgy that is on sale as of now.
Stepway is expected to cost approximately INR 60,000 to INR 65,000 more than regular RxZ Lodgy. Renault dealerships have commenced booking procedure for this new flagship variant.
Renault Lodgy Stepway will be powered by the following powertrain:
- Engine: 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine
- Horsepower: 108.5
- Torque: 245 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed manual transmission
- Fuel Efficiency: 19.98 kpl (test result of Rule 115 of CMVR)
The manufacturer will offer both seven and eight seating option in Stepway. Both exterior and interior will look more sporty and premium compared to regular Renault Lodgy. Features like ABS, airbags, touch screen entertainment system, rear parking sensors and reverse camera will be standard.
