Renault Kwid's Bookings Set A New Benchmark In India
We expected this to happen, and now we have received official confirmation from Renault India. The all-new Kwid has received an overwhelming response. Since its launch announcement, the Renault Kwid has crossed 25,000 bookings, and 40% of buyers are below the age of 28 and approximately 15% are female buyers. This is a major milestone considering the Kwid was launched in India on 24 September 2015.

Renault India has put in a lot of time and investment (Rs 3000 crore) to develop the Kwid. This entry-level hatchback from Renault will compete with the Maruti Alto, the current segment leader. Renault confirms all their dealerships across regions are witnessing remarkable footfalls. The tier II and tier III cities have responded well to the Kwid, and 35% of bookings have come from the tier II and tier III cities such as Nashik, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Nagpur, Jalandhar, among other towns. The Renault app and virtual showroom has received a tremendous response as well.

The Kwid's entry level variant is priced at Rs. 2,56,968 (ex- showroom Delhi). The Kwid is India's most fuel efficient petrol vehicle delivering a mileage of 25.17 km/l. Deliveries will start in the festive season beginning next week, and the Kwid be available across all Renault dealerships in the country.
