Renault Koleos Attracts Benefits Worth Rs. 6 Lakh This Diwali
Renault will be offering the Koleos premium SUV in India with benefits worth Rs. 6 lakh and is hoping for a boost in sales during Diwali. Currently, Renault Koleos is offered in three variants for the Indian market.
Renault Koleos pricing* in India:
- Koleos 4x2 with manual transmission costs Rs. 23.53 lakh.
- Koleos 4x4 with manual transmission costs Rs. 26.75 lakh.
- Koleos 4x2 with automatic transmission costs Rs. 27.82 lakh.
*Note all prices mentioned above are ex-showroom (Mumbai).
Powering the Koleos is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine. The engine is mated to an optional manual or automatic transmission with either 2WD or 4WD. Renault Koleos is offered with a 147.94bhp or 170.63bhp engine.
The Koleos premium SUV benefits worth Rs. 6 lakh will be provided in various schemes. Renault is most likely to offer exchange and loyalty benefits. The majority of the benefit is likely to be provided as discounts to clear existing stocks of Koleos, which is not selling well in India.
Regarding safety, the Renault Koleos is equipped with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Brake Assistance, Speed Stabiliser, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, automatic headlights, auto wipers, and hill-start assistance.
The sales of Fluence and Koleos are disappointing for Renault India. On the flipside, the Duster and Kwid have gained the attention of Indian buyers, and it is clearly reflecting in sales volume. Renault is expected to provide its Duster with a highly anticipated facelift, which is expected to boost sales once again.
