Renault Duster Facelift With AMT Expected To Launch By 2015-end
The Renault Duster is expected to receive a much needed facelift for Indian markets. The French manufacturer will provide both cosmetic as well as mechanical updates in the new model.
Duster facelift will get an AMT option as well and is expected to be launched in India by 2015-end. Deliveries from Renault could commence by early-2016 across the country.
The compact SUV segment is currently heating up with the arrival of new products. Recently Hyundai launched its Creta to compete with the Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster in India.
The Creta is the only compact SUV to offer an AMT with a diesel engine option. Renault, on the flipside, offers the AWD Duster, which none of the other manufacturers offer in this segment.
The French manufacturer has been providing subtle updates to the Duster over the years. We expect several design changes, however, the base and originality of the model will not be tampered with.
Engine options will remain the same and Renault engineers will surely tune their engine for improved fuel efficiency and performance. Major focus though will be on equipping the new Duster with the AMT option.
