The British-based automobile manufacturer has confirmed with us their Evoque Convertible will be unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Unfortunately, customers will have to wait till Spring 2016 for it to be on sale.
Evoque Convertible is most likely to be powered by a 2.2-lite diesel mill and an optional 2.0-litre petrol engine. It is the same power units that do duty in regular models, however, the convertible could be tuned differently.
We still wonder why the British manufacturer is taking their popular SUV the Evoque and chopping off its roof. It is uncertain to us if a market does really exist for SUV Convertibles.
Range Rover Evoque is targeted at a niche market and the convertible version will have a tough time. Nevertheless, it is always interesting to own an unique vehicle and owning an SUV Convertible fits the bill.
