Range Rover Evoque Convertible To Debut Next Month!
The Range Rover Evoque is without doubt a brilliant looking vehicle. Something that could beat its looks will be a convertible—a Range Rover Evoque Convertible.
The long-awaited SUV will make its debut next month, i.e., in November at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, that is to take place between the 20th to 29th.
The Evoque convertible will be based on the recently face lifted Evoque itself and will bear a resemblance to its hardtop brother visually, apart from the roof of course.
The Roof of the new convertible baby SUV from the British carmaker is a soft top, and will be able to fold away in under 20 seconds. But that has made the Evoque gain about 100 kgs, since it needed reinforcement.
As for the power plant, it could carry forward the same 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. In terms of features too, it will see a host of features that is currently being offered in the hard top version.
So, now for the big question—will it come to India? Frankly, why can't it? It will be the only convertible SUV when it lands on the Indian shores.
