Will A Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Be Considered?
Executives from Porsche have suggested that a more powerful and lighter version of the Porsche Cayman GT4 could come up in the future.
But this version will have to wait though as Porsche's Motorsport chief said the development will be done based on customer demand.
Porsche's Motorsport chief said that even he will be interested in a Cayman GT4 RS version but the company has not planned on any such thing yet, but there are chances do so if there is demand for it from customers.
Porsche recently revealed the Cayman GT4 during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show alongside the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The Cayman is powered by a flat-six, 3.8-litre engine that produces 385 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The car is rear-wheel driven and power is delivered by a six-speed manual transmission only.
The car can sprint to 100 km/h from standstill in 4.4 seconds and keep going until it reaches a top speed of 295 km/h.
The car managed to lap the famous Nürburgring in 7 minutes and 40 seconds, and is to go on sale at the end of this month, priced at USD 84,600.
