Nissan Sway Concept To Be Next-Gen Micra, Reveal At Geneva Motor Show
The 85th Geneva Motor Show is slated to begin on 5th March to 15th March, 2015. Japanese automobile giant, Nissan will also be present at the motor show. They will be showcasing a new concept car at Geneva, which they have christened as the ‘Sway'.
Nissan has previously come up with unique looking designs and has captured the imagination of several buyers. The Juke and Qashqai are two of their recent four-wheelers that has witnessed success. Now this new concept is ready to take the place of Nissan's Micra.
Currently Nissan has provided a teaser image of their soon to be revealed Sway concept. It is obvious that the production model will not share every design element like the concept vehicle. The Daytime Running Lights are a good touch and we would love to see them on the production model as well.
The Nissan signature grille also looks more bolder and will most likely make it to the production model. It will give the Micra a more modern appeal and is likely to attract more customers as well. We will have to wait for this new model as it is expected not before 2016.
Nissan will update its Micra in India as well, however, it could retain its current engines. They last updated their Micra in India back in 2013. The Japanese manufacturer offers two models of the hatchback in India called Micra Active and Micra. We could have our first glimpse of this hatchback at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.
