Nissan Patrol Nismo Revealed In The Middle East

The people from Nissan's performance division, Nismo have introduced a beefed up version of the Nissan Patrol in Dubai. It was unveiled at an event to mark Nismo's entry to the middle east.

Alongside the Patrol Nismo, the Nissan GT-R Nismo and the 370Z Nismo will also join the product line to be sold in the UAE.

The exterior of the Patrol receives a Nismo body kit that include revised front bumper with a larger air intake, red highlights, sportier side skirts and the rear bumper gets a diffuser like element. It also gets 22-inch wheels.

The interior gets black and white leather upholstery with diamond stitching, red accents, a red Nismo rev counter and two screens embedded into the front headrests to entertain occupants in the rear.

A peek under the bonnet reveals the 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine that is now tuned to produce 428 horsepower. Torque figures have not been revealed, but has been increased as well. The standard Patrol produces 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.

Power is delivered to all four wheels through an automatic transmission.

The handling aspect has been tweaked as well. The Patrol Nismo gets upgraded suspension, and reinforcements for the body as well, which help the massive SUV steer better and sharper.
