Nissan & Datsun Announce 2016 Price Hike Of Three Percent
Nissan India and Datsun India have announced that their vehicles will witness a price hike. The current portfolio will experience a price hike of three percent from January 1, 2016. Nissan and Datsun have decided to uniformly increase pricing of its models for 2016.
Here is the current pricing of Nissan models and 2016 pricing with three percent hike:
- Nissan Micra Active costs Rs. 4.47 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 13,430.13 in 2016.
- Nissan Micra costs Rs. 5.33 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 15,980.37 in 2016.
- Nissan Sunny costs Rs. 7.45 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 22,355.52 in 2016.
- Nissan Evalia costs Rs. 9.14 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 27,414.69 in 2016.
- Nissan Terrano costs Rs. 9.99 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 29,970 in 2016.
All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom (Delhi) and of base variants.
Here is the current pricing of Datsun models and 2016 pricing with three percent hike:
- Datsun Go costs Rs. 3.23 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 9690 in 2016.
- Datsun Go Plus costs Rs. 3.79 lakh and will witness a price hike of Rs. 11,370 in 2016.
All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom (Delhi) and of base variants.
Several other manufacturers in India have also announced a price hike from 2016 onwards. Most automobile manufacturers have cited an increase in input costs as a major reason for price hike. Others have expressed foreign exchange as a reason for price hike from January 1, 2016.
Every automobile manufacturer recently provided schemes and offers with their models during the festive season in India. December also witnesses several offers and benefits across the country from almost every manufacturer.
