Mitsubishi New MPV Launch By 2017; Could Be Coming To India
The Indian market and customer is constantly evolving, new and exciting segments are being explored. Japanese automobile manufacturer Mitsubishi is planning on introducing new products in India.
Mitsubishi has announced that it will be launching its new MPV for global markets in 2017. This model could makes its way into the Indian market as this segment is slowly yet surely catching up.
The Japanese manufacturer is most likely to design its MPV on basis of its Concept AR model. This model was showcased recently at 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Mitsubishi's MPV will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine. No performance details have been provided so far. There is also no talk if a diesel mill will be offered under the hood of this MPV.
The manufacturer plans on introducing this MPV in Indonesia primarily, it will then launch it in several other countries. It is most likely to come to India as the manufacturer realises India as a huge market potential.
Mitsubishi is currently present in India with partners Hindustan Motors. They have been contemplating the launch of a hatchback and sedan in India for a while now.
