Mini To Replace Its Countryman Worldwide By 2016-End
Mini is one of the pioneers of small cars and they have been present since 1959 and are known for their compact designs. The British based automobile company is currently led by the BMW Group.
For the very first time Mini has introduced a couple of new models which included an all-new Mini Cooper 5-door model and the Mini Countryman, which offered more room within the vehicle.
The Countryman has strayed away a bit with Mini's original philosophies. It was not an instant hit with Mini fans and previous owners, however, it did attract new buyers that wanted a Mini with more room.
Now the British based automobile manufacturer has confirmed that it will be replacing the Countryman worldwide. There is no exact date revealed as yet, however, the new model will be introduced by 2016-end.
Designers will be borrowing styling cues from Mini X-Raid model used at the Dakar Rally. They will also be planning to make it slightly more bigger, thus providing a more spacious cabin.
The Mini Countryman replacement with also get new engine options. They plan to introduce five models, which are the new Countryman, new Cabriolet, Cooper diesel, Cooper petrol and Superleggera.
