Mini Cooper S Launched; Price, Specs, Features & More
Mini Cooper S has been launched in India for a price of INR 34,65,000 ex-showroom, India. It is their most sporty version of the hatchback till date. The manufacturer provides several sporty features to make it look and feel faster.
Mini has brought its Cooper S premium hatchback in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The British automobile manufacturer offers a wide range of its vehicles in India. Mini Countryman diesel is the only Completely Knocked Down (CKD) hatchback for India.
Mini Cooper Front View
Mini has provided its Cooper S with an all-new oval shaped grille. They have also opted of a deeper front bonnet. Projector headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights makes its way to the sport model. There is lot of chrome used to accentuate the vehicle, it also adorns a 'S' badge upfront.
Mini Cooper S Side View
From side view the Mini Cooper S looks identical to its siblings. They have provided chrome door handles and fuel-filler cap. The roof and mirror caps get contrast colours to make it stand out.
Mini Cooper S Rear View
The rear gets a twin sporty looking exhaust outlet. Cooper S badging is very subtle on the rear end by Mini. Tail lamps also receive chrome treatment around it. Rounded design is typical to Mini Cooper design and maintains its retro-styling.
Mini Cooper S Alloy Wheels
The Indian Mini Cooper S gets sporty looking 16-inch alloy wheels that it drives on. British based manufacturer has provided a front wheel drive system to their premium hatchback.
Mini Cooper S Dashboard
Mini Cooper S gets an all-black dashboard, along with carbon fibre inserts. The infotainment system gets chrome treatment around it, overall the interior looks premium and upmarket.
Mini Cooper S Engine
The hatchback is powered by a four cylinder, 2.0-litre twin-turbo engine. It will produce 189 bhp, along with 300 Nm of peak torque. Mini Cooper S in India will be offered only with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
