Mercedes-Benz Sets Another Record & Is Closer To End No.1 In India
Mercedes-Benz has planned that they will end the year in number one spot, in terms of sales. To achieve they have decided to launch 15 new products in Indian market during 2015.
Along this journey they will set several new records in India. The German luxury car maker has set another record by registering best ever Q2 sales.
Between January to June, 2015 Mercedes-Benz India has registered selling 6659 models. During Q2 they managed to sell 3,093 models in India, which is their best till date.
So far Mercedes-Benz India has launched six new products during 2015. They still have nine more interesting products lined up for the second half of 2015.
Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India commented, "In the first six months of 2015, we sold almost as many cars as in the entire year of 2012."
He further added, "With some of the most awaited products in the pipeline for the remaining two quarters, including the much awaited AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz is all set for another year of strong growth."
The German manufacturer has 73 outlets currently across India. Mercedes plans on inaugurating 12 more exclusive dealerships in the country. It is most likely that Mercedes will be the number one seller of luxury vehicles in India during 2015.
