Mercedes-Benz India Could Offer Estate Models After Audi
Audi recently launched its RS6 Avant in India and it is the very first performance station wagon on offer. They plan to introduce even more station wagons in India to attract young buyers.
The competition between German manufacturers in India to be number one is extremely fierce. The trio is constantly trying to outdo each other in the premium luxury car segment of India.
Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are constantly battling for supremacy in India. Now the ‘Three Pointed Star' is also thinking of bringing a couple of estate wagons to India for the very first time.
It is most likely that Mercedes-Benz would introduce it E-Class and C-Class estate Wagon models in India. It will be interesting to see if a direct competition in estate wagons begins in India.
Mercedes-Benz will first test if there is a market for these models in India, following which they will decide on launch of these products. No detail on engine of variants that could be offered.
