Mercedes-Benz To Launch GLE 450 AMG Coupe In India On January 12
Mercedes-Benz India will be launching their all-new GLE Coupe model on January 12, 2016. The GLE Coupe will be the first model by the German manufacturer to be introduced in 2016. Recently, Mercedes-Benz rebadged all their ML-Class models as the GLE worldwide.
Initially, Mercedes-Benz India will be introducing the GLE 450 AMG. The performance SUV coupe will be launched in the country as CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. Every AMG model is imported to Indian shores from Mercedes-Benz.
Powering GLE 450 AMG Coupe by Mercedes-Benz will be a 3.0-litre, V6, bi-Turbo petrol engine. AMG engineers have tuned the engine to deliver 357bhp, along with 520Nm of peak torque. The vehicle receives a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The interiors of GLE 450 AMG Coupe will be similar to regular GLE models. Mercedes-Benz could provide AMG badging within the vehicle to remind its special status. Exterior will be aggressive owing to its AMG performance status.
