Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wins World Car Of The Year 2015 Award
German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz is by far the most popular choice across the globe. They have a wide range of products on offer that cater to various needs of customers.
At the ongoing New York Auto Show several automobile manufacturers are present. During the auto show 2015 World Car of the Year award was presented to Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
The new C-Class adopts styling and design cues from Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It is rightfully called the baby S-Class in many countries and this could be a major reason for the vehicle winning World Car of the Year award.
Other vehicles in contention for 2015 World Car of the year award were Ford Mustang and Volkswagen Passat. The panel of judges went ahead and adjourned C-Class as the winner.
The judges declared the Mercedes-Benz has provided its C-Class with an all-new aluminium/steel hybrid construction. German engineers have updated the drivetrain as well.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class provides highest level of refinement along with safety, luxury, drive and handling compared to any of its competitors.
All-in-all Mercedes-Benz bagged three awards at 2015 New York Auto Show. The Mercedes-AMG GT won World Performance Car 2015, while S-Class Coupe was voted World Luxury Car 2015. Show stealer was the C-Class by winning World Car Of The Year 2015.
