Mercedes-Benz B-Class Tourer Launching Tomorrow In India
German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz will be launching its refreshed B-Class tourer in India tomorrow. The vehicle made its debut at 2014 Paris Motor Show and has been launched in several markets. It will now be making its way to Indian shores on 11th March, 2015.
Mercedes-Benz has provided mild updates to its new B-Class exterior. The front grille has been been redesigned, along with the front bumper. Headlight assembly gets projector headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights and the interior has been blacked out for a stealth look.
The rear also gets a refreshed look in the form of new rear bumpers. German manufacturer will also provide LED bi-colour tail lights and trapezoidal exhaust outlets. Mercedes-Benz has focused on making its touring vehicle more sporty and youth oriented.
2015 B-Class will also get an all-new interior treatment. Most visible change will be the steering wheel, which will look more sporty. The dashboard will be redesigned and will sport an integrated infotainment system. Interior will also get 12 shades of ambient lighting, which will provide a distinctive experience to the owner and occupants.
New Mercedes-Benz B-Class will be available with both a petrol and diesel engines:
- A 1.6-litre petrol powered B-Class will generate 120 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. The touring vehicle will receive a 7-speed automatic transmission from the German manufacturer.
- The diesel powered B-Class gets a 2,143cc mill, which develops 107 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Mercedes-Benz will provide the vehicle with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
