Mercedes-Benz B-Class Confirmed To Launch On 11th March
German luxury car maker, Mercedes-Benz has promised to launch 15 vehicles in 2015. The manufacturer has confirmed a few of these products, while the others are expected to be surprises. They have now confirmed the launch of their refreshed luxury touring vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz will be launching its new B-Class in India on the 11th of March, 2015. This refreshed version of the vehicle was showcased a few months ago at 2014 Paris Motor Show. The German manufacturer had introduced their touring vehicle in India during 2012.
German engineers will provide their touring car with both a petrol s well as diesel engine option:
- The 2015 B-Class will be powered by a 2,143cc diesel mill. It will generate 107 bhp, along with 250 Nm of peak torque output. This engine is paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
- 2015 B-Class by Mercedes-Benz will sport a 1,595cc petrol engine. It will be capable of producing 120 bhp, along with 200 Nm of peak torque output. The engine has been mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The refreshed B-Class for 2015 will get a host of upgrades on the exterior. German designers have redesigned the bumpers, they have also tweaked the grille. The touring vehicle also gets bigger air intakes in the front bumper, and LED Daytime Running Lights with blacked out headlights.
The B-Class rear also gets an uplift in the form of new trapezoidal exhaust ports, LED bi-colour tail lamps and an all-new rear bumper. All these additions are sure to make the touring vehicle look more sporty and youthful.
Interiors of B-Class will also be spruced up for a more premium feel. Mercedes-Benz will provide 12 colours of ambient lighting. They will all provide an all-new sporty steering wheel. The German manufacturer will also feature a redesigned dashboard and better integrated infotainment system.
