Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT S India Launch Date Confirmed!

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the AMG-GT S supercar is all set to launch in India on 24 Nov. The AMG-GT S will be the 14th product to be launched in India under the 15 in ‘15 strategy.

The AMG-GT S is the second sports car that has been completely designed by the Mercedes-AMG engineers, after the Mercedes SLS AMG, and the fifth AMG product that will come to Indian shores.

Powering the Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT S is a 4.0-litre, twin turbo V8 that produces 503bhp and 650Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered through a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT gearbox, which helps the car to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 311km/h.

Some of the features of the AMG-GT S sports car are a standard mechanical rear differential, AMG Ride Control suspension with three damping settings, which allows the driver to select from three different settings.

Safety features include airbags, lane keeping assist, Adaptive high beam, collision prevention assist, tyre pressure monitor, blind spot assist, and high-performance brakes.
