McLaren 675LT To Be Unveiled At 2015 Geneva Motor Show
McLaren automotive was formed in 1989 by Ron Dennis. The supercar maker also competes in Formula One competition. Over the years this English manufacturer has built several supercars, which have gained popularity in recent times.
The English manufacturer had revealed its 650S and 625C among its McLaren Super Series vehicles. Now they will be present at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and will have something interesting to showcase. They will unveil their highly anticipated 675LT model.
McLaren's 675LT will be powered by a 3.8-litre, V8 petrol engine. It will produce 675PS or 666 horsepower, this is where the supercar gets its name from. It will be the lightest and most fastest production model on offer by the manufacturer. To cool the engine the engineers have provided dual air intakes near the door and a large intake lower in the front bumper.
The 675LT will be placed above their 650S and MP4-12C models. It will, however, sit below McLaren's P1 hypercar, thus making it the fastest in their Super Series offering. At the 85th edition of Geneva Motor Show the Woking based manufacturer will also unveil their P1 GTR hypercar besides the 675LT.
McLaren has not revealed pricing or information of how many models they plan to make. They will make an official announcement in March, 2015 regarding these details. We believe the 675LT will cost approximately 2,00,000 Pounds or INR 1,86,00,000.
When launched, McLaren's 675LT will compete with the likes of Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The Woking based manufacturer has focussed on better aerodynamics, downforce and weight reduction to improve drive and handling.
