Supercars these days are manufactured in limited numbers to keep their exclusivity and they manage to sell out as fast as they accelerate.
The latest news is about the McLaren 675LT, that was unveiled during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which is sold out already.
Based on the 650S, the 675LT is 100 kgs lighter and is equipped with a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine that produces 666 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque. This helped the car reach 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 330 km/h.
Limited to just 500 examples, the McLaren 675LT had a Long Tail exterior which added 40 percent more downforce, which helps with handling and performance.
In a statement, the company quoted: The McLaren 675LT, which debuted in production form at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, is the lightest, most powerful, fastest and most track-focused, yet road legal, model in the McLaren Super Series, and resurrects one of the most revered names in modern-day GT racing - the ‘Longtail'."
"It is also the most exclusive in the range, with confirmation that 500 coupés will be produced, all of which are now sold."
