Maserati Planning Its Indian Comeback For 2015
Italian premium luxury brand Ferrari has come back to India after a short absence. Many of its customers were worried as to what would happen to the maintenance and upkeep of their prized possessions. Now its sub-brand is also staging its comeback.
Maserati also was present in India, however, due to some issues had to take leave. Now the Italian luxury car maker will be marking its return by mid 2015. The manufacturer realises the potential of Indian market and knows it needs to have presence in the market.
Ferrari had witnessed issues with its former importer an distributor of vehicles. There were complaints from owners and potential buyers that after-sales service was not up to the mark. The delivery of products also was problematic and some claimed to have not received vehicles even after making major payments.
The Prancing Horse offers four supercars in India, however, they will provide other vehicles if there is demand. Currently Ferrari offers its California, 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano and the FF models. The Italian manufacturer recently inaugurated two new showrooms in Mumbai and New Delhi.
Maserati on the other hand offers three models in India. The GranTurismo, Quattroporte and GranCabrio are priced from INR 1,20,00,000 to 1,43,00,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. When they re-launch themselves they could bring newer and improved models to India as well.
The Italian manufacturer of luxury car has not confirmed the date of their comeback. Maserati claims it will be soon and better than before. They have also not confirmed with whom will they partnering to make a comeback in India during 2015.
