Maruti Suzuki Nexa Dealership To Be Launched On July 23rd
Maruti Suzuki is all set to inaugurate its first premium dealership-Nexa on the 23rd of July and the S-Cross will be the first model to be sold through the Nexa dealerships.
Being the country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited will have separate dealerships for its mass sellers and premium vehicles that are priced above INR 8 lakh.
During the launch of the S-Cross, Maruti Suzuki will have 30 Nexa dealerships open, that will offer customers an exclusive and personalised buying experience.
The company has set itself a target of selling 2 million cars by the year 2020, and the Nexa outlets are to play a major role for the company to achieve this.
The S-Cross will be available with a choice of two diesel engines. A 1.3-litre, DDiS diesel engine that will produce 89 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The second option will be a 1.6-litre DDiS diesel engine that will produce 118 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki will also hire around 2,500 relationship managers for 100 Nexa outlets by the end of this fiscal year.
