Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Refreshed Model Launching Soon
Maruti Suzuki has launched it Swift and Swift Dzire models in India a long time ago. Since the initial launch both vehicles have gone through minimum changes, however, regular updates have been added to keep customers interested in their offering.
The Japanese manufacturer recently updated its Swift hatchback. They provided minor cosmetic changes and major changes were within the cabin. Now Maruti Suzuki is contemplating of providing a facelift to its compact sedan the Swift Dzire.
For 2015 Maruti Suzuki will provide cosmetic upgrades to its Swift Dzire. These will be similar to that provided to its hatchback version. The Japanese manufacturer is expected to launch this new version of the compact sedan within February, 2015 itself.
The most obvious change to 2015 Swift Dzire will be its front grille, along with smoked headlamps. Foglamps retain their position, however, it is highlighted by chrome embellishment. There will be loads of chrome used in the refresh model of this compact sedan.
Within the cabin 2015 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is expected to get an all new entertainment system with Bluetooth. The Japanese manufacturer will also provide push button start/stop feature, auto folding rear mirrors and improved upholstery amongst many other updates.
In terms of mechanicals, Japanese engineers would not be making any changes. They will continue providing petrol and diesel engine in the 2015 Swift Dzire.
Maruti Suzuki will provide a 1197cc K-Series petrol engine with VVT. It will be capable of producing 85 bhp, along with 114 Nm of peak torque output. This engine will be paired to a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission(optional), it will provide fuel efficiency figures of 19.1 kpl and 17.4 kpl respectively.
Maruti Suzuki will provide a 1248cc DDiS diesel engine. It will be capable of generating 74 bhp, along with 190 Nm of peak torque output. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will provide fuel efficiency figures of 23.4 kpl.
