Maruti Suzuki Records Producing 15 Million Vehicles In India
Japanese automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is one of the most popular four-wheeler brands in India. They have introduced several interesting products in the domestic market.
They are now the very first automobile manufacturers in India to record 15 million vehicles produced till date. All their products have contributed to the this monumental feat.
It has taken Maruti Suzuki 31 years to achieve production of 15 million vehicles. The manufacturer has came a long way since its launch of Maruti 800, that began its India operation.
The Alto, Swift, Swift Dzire, Gypsy, Wagon R, Omni and Celerio have all contributed to this record in Indian market. Maruti Suzuki plans on introducing new vehicles in India to achieve its future goals.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio has witnessed tremendous sales as it was the first small car to offer AMT option at an affordable price to several Indian customers.
The Japanese manufacturer will be introducing a few premium products in India during 2015. These include a premium hatchback and a compact SUV, which will be sold from new and more luxurious showrooms.
