Maruti Suzuki Plan New Dealerships To Sell Niche Models
Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest carmaker is planning to set up new dealerships across the country to sell premium models. This move is to help achieve Maruti Suzuki's yearly target of selling two million cars in the next five years.
These new dealerships will have the same name, but will offer customers better touch and feel, making them a little more distinct from the current dealerships across the country.
The new dealerships will cater to Maruti Suzuki's high end cars, which have failed in the past.
Maruti Suzuki will set up these dealerships in cities such as Delhi and Mumbai, which have a big market. Around 35 of these dealerships will be set up in the course of a year's time.
RS Kalsi, the Executive Director of Sales for Maruti Suzuki confirmed this new sales strategy.
Maruti Suzuki is working on improving the company's image in India, by investing in its marketing setup before the company launches new cars.
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 Cross and the YRA hatchback will be introduced in the market very shortly.
