Maruti Nexa—Maruti's First Premium Dealership Opened
Maruti Suzuki has opened its first premium dealership in India called the Nexa in New Delhi. The showroom will focus on selling the brand's premium models.
At the moment, the dealership has the Ciaz on sale and the upcoming crossover S-Cross, and premium hatchback YRA on sale as soon as they are launched.
Maruti has opened this outlet to sell premium cars to wipe away the ‘budget carmaker' image it has. The company will open many more such outlets in India in the coming time.
The showrooms will offer customers an exclusive experience.
Although Maruti Suzuki is the best selling carmaker in India, the Alto 800, the brands cheapest offering is the best seller.
Since all the best sellers for Maruti over a long period of time have been its budget cars, Maruti is now looking at possibilities to sell its premium cars as well.
Can such a strategy work for Maruti Suzuki to sell its premium models? Or the image of being ‘budget carmaker' going to be an everlasting one? Do share your thoughts with us.
