Maruti Suzuki Launches Ertiga Facelift At INR 5.99 Lakhs
Maruti Suzuki launches a facelifted version of the Ertiga at a base price of INR 5,99,907. The Ertiga is also offered in a Smart Hybrid option as well; this variant is a top-of-the-line model, and prices start at INR 9,25,358 ex-showroom (Delhi). The prices offered is an introductory offer from Maruti Suzuki.
The 2015 Ertiga is now available in two new colour options: Blue and Beige. And also shows off more chrome, with a chrome applique and the Ertiga brand name engraved on it. The front grille is more bold and in-sync with the headlights, and rear tail lamps have been retained from the previous model.
Maruti Suzuki will be providing new features like a reverse camera, navigation, Bluetooth, and SmartPlay infotainment system. In terms of safety, Maruti Suzuki offers the base variant with optional safety equipment. The entry-level Ertiga is being offered with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and seatbelts with force limiter and pre-tensioner.
The third-row seat can now be folded down, with the 50:50 split option. Previously, the third row would be folded down completely. The second row has the option of folding them in 60:40 configuration, thus offering more boot options in the new Ertiga.
The 2015 Ertiga competes with the Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy, and the soon launching Hyundai MPV. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch its new premium hatchback-Baleno-within this month and will be following it up with a compact SUV for next year.
