Maruti Suzuki launched its highly anticipated diesel version of Celerio on 3rd of June, 2015. They have been selling the petrol powered Celerio in India for over a year and has witnessed tremendous demand.

Maruti Suzuki has provided its Celerio with a two cylinder 793 cc diesel mill. It produces 46.95 horsepower, along with 125 Nm of peak torque and is mated to 5-speed manual transmission.
