Mahindra XUV500 Achieves 1,50,000 Sale Milestone
Mahindra XUV500 has achieved selling 1,50,000 units since its launch in September, 2011. The SUV is Mahindra's most features rich offering to its customers in India as well as International markets.
The XUV500 has been inspired by the Cheetah claim Mahindra designers and engineers. Mahindra XUV500 can move swiftly like a Cheetah and can also be very stealthy and menacing looking when needed.
Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive, Mahindra, expressed, that this a proud moment for the entire team. All credit goes to the customers who have displayed trust and faith in their offering.
He further added they are constantly taking feedback from their customers. Several customers insights have been incorporated into the current generation Mahindra XUV500 model.
Powering Mahindra's XUV500 is their mHawk 2,179cc diesel engine with variable Geometry Turbocharger. This engine produces 140 horsepower, along with 330Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Current generation Mahindra XUV500 is available in seven colour options. They are Sunset Orange, Pearl White, Opulent Purple, Volcano Black, Tuscan Red, Dolphin Grey and Moondust Silver.
Mahindra offers its XUV500 in six trim options for buyers to choose from. Their base model costs INR 11,21,182 and fully-loaded model is priced at INR 16,05,333 ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The Indian manufacturer recently introduced their all-new TUV300 model in India. Mahindra promises to launch several new products and also update their Xylo and Quanto model offered in the country.
