Mahindra TUV300 India Launch Confirmed For Mid-September
Mahindra recently announced that it will be launching a host of new products in India. The very first of these products will be their all-new TUV300 model, which is designed from ground up.
TUV300 by Mahindra has been confirmed to be launched by mid-September, 2015 prior to festive season. Indian manufacturer will follow it up with their S101 compact SUV model.
Designers have focussed on providing a tough and rugged exterior to showcase its off-road capabilities. Mahindra took their inspiration from battle tanks for a solid design language for TUV300.
This new model by Mahindra will be manufactured from their Chakan, Pune facility. It is expected to be priced competitively against other small SUVs in Indian market.
Powering TUV300 will be an all-new mHawk80 engine, which is developed by Mahindra's Chennai facility. No engine specifications have been provided so far by Mahindra officials.
All new models by Mahindra in India are expected to boost sales and establish themselves as a major utility vehicle provider. The Indian manufacturer recently re-designed their Scorpio and XUV500 for domestic markets.
