Mahindra Thar To Get Facelift & Launching On 22nd July

India's largest seller and manufacturer of utility vehicles has a wide range of products. During 2015, Mahindra plans to introduce facelifts and a few new models in the country as well.

The Thar is an iconic vehicle by Mahindra and it is a trusted option for those seeking adventure. It is a pure off-roading machine and is a machine made to fight tough terrain.

Now Mahindra will be providing its Thar with a facelift in Indian market. This new avatar of Thar will be introduced in the country on 22nd of July, 2015.

In terms of changes the Thar will receive minor cosmetic changes that will freshen up the vehicle. Bumpers, side step, new roof and few more updates will be provided to the facelift.

Mahindra currently offers its Thar with two engine options:

The Thar gets a CRDe 2.5-litre diesel engine, producing 105 horsepower and 247 Nm of peak torque. Its available only as a 4WD option with 5-speed manual transmission.

The Thar gets a Di 2,523cc diesel engine, producing 63 horsepower and 182.5 Nm of peak torque. Its available as a 2WD or 4WD option with 5-speed manual transmission.
