Mahindra has launched the all new 2015 Mahindra Thar CRDe in India. The Thar has been launched with a lot of upgrades for the interior and exterior as well.
The new 2015 Mahindra Thar has also received a lot of convenience features and is targeted at young off-road enthusiasts, who also need a refined vehicle with comfort to be used in the city as well. The 2015 Mahindra Thar CRDe will be offered in a 4X4 variant only.
2015 Mahindra Thar CRDe Pricing:
The new Mahindra Thar CRDe will be priced at INR 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom Nashik). The Thar CRDe will be on sale in the Indian market from today onwards.
Mahindra Thar CRDe Engine Specification And Transmission:
The new Mahindra Thar CRDe will be powered by the same 2498 cc, turbocharged CRDe diesel engine that produces 105 bhp and 247 Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Thar CRDe features a new mechanical locking rear differential, that transfers power to the wheel that needs it the most during extreme off-roading, without the driver's intervention.
The new Thar CRDe also features a 44 degree approach angle, 27 degree departure angle and a ground clearance of 200 mm, which makes it the most capable off-roader available in India. A few accessories added on which is provided by Mahindra itself will make it an invincible machine, capable of tackling any road conditions.
