Mahindra Worst Affected By Diesel Vehicle Ban In Delhi
Customers are wondering as to what will happen regarding their booking. Mahindra and Mahindra confirmed that customers will be given various options to choose from. The manufacturer is willing to refund the entire booking amount to customers.
The other option that Mahindra dealerships will be offering is a change of model. Customers can opt for the TUV3OO or soon to be launched KUV1OO model. Both products have smaller engines and are also popular amongst Indian buyers.
Dealers are also asked to deliver existing orders as soon as possible and provide speedy registration to those who have already purchased Mahindra vehicles. The Scorpio and the XUV5OO models from Mahindra are the worse affected within their portfolio.
Mahindra has explained that sales will take a hit between January 1 to March 31, 2016. The automobile manufacturer is also looking at options of providing the Scorpio and XUV5OO with petrol engines. Currently, Mahindra offers its Scorpio with a petrol engine for international markets.
