Watch Varun Dhawan Meeting Mahindra’s KUV1OO Compact SUV
Mahindra has revealed the brand ambassador for their all-new KUV1OO compact SUV model. Varun Dhawan now features in the very first teaser trailer by Mahindra for its KUV1OO. The video is really short and of only ten seconds, and features glimpses of the front, side and rear of the vehicle.
The KUV1OO was christened during December by Mahindra officials. A few images were also revealed showcasing the overall style of the new compact SUV. Mahindra has opened booking procedure for the KUV1OO model and will be launching the compact SUV on January 15, 2016.
Under the hood of Mahindra's KUV1OO will be an all-new 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engine. The engines have passed BS-IV emission norms and will be low on harmful emissions. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. No AMT option will be offered at the time of launch, Mahindra is not ruling out the possibility.
Mahindra has designed and developed the KUV1OO from the ground up. The Indian manufacturer is creating its very own niche segment with its compact SUV. Currently, the KUV1OO has no competition in the country and we think it could take on a few crossover models in India.
Pricing will be key to Mahindra's KUV1OO's success and expect highly competitive pricing. The KUV1OO could be priced well below the TUV3OO model. Mahindra will be offering all KUV1OO variants with ABS and optional airbags even in the base variant.
