Mahindra organised its 120th edition of Great Escape in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on the 22nd of February, 2015. The event is held annually and participants can take part only if they have been invited for it. The off-road adventure this year had over 70 Mahindra SUVs competing against the harsh terrain.
The Great Escape by Mahindra received an astounding reply from all of its participants. They had invited various dignitaries that comprised of international as well as domestic CEOs of auto component companies and agencies.
The total rote was 60 kilometres long and Mahindra's SUVs showcased their of-road prowess. Out of the total track, 12 kilometres were filled with steep inclines, shifting slopes and undulating sand dunes. At the end of day, everyone kept asking for more action.

Over the years, the Great Escape has developed a reputation as one of India's most thrilling off-road events and this year's edition was no different as it put both man and machine to test".
This year the route for Mahindra Great Escape 120th edition was planned by Mahindra Adventure team. They worked closely with ‘With You Hamesha', a service team that made sure every participant could enjoy the rally peacefully.
Mahindra also took the opportunity to showcase its Special Edition White Thar. They had planned to unveil the vehicle at the Annual Mahindra Great Escape. The Indian manufactures also displayed its five millionth vehicle, in the form of a Thar, which was manufactured at their Kandivali plant in Maharashtra on 5th January, 2015.
