Lotus Launch All-New 3-Eleven Quickest Production Road Car

The 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed witnessed launch and introduction of new models. British manufacturer of supercars, Lotus has launched their all-new 3-Eleven at the hillclimb event.

Lotus has designed this single seater as their quickest production road car till date. They will offer two variant first is a Road and second is a Race version, which will be more performance focussed.

Here are the technical specifications of Lotus 3-Eleven model:

  • Engine: 3.5-litre supercharged & charge-cooled V6 mill
  • Horsepower: 450
  • Torque: 450 Nm
  • Gearbox: 6-speed manual transmission with Torsen-type limited slip differential

British automobile manufacturer has launched its all-new quickest production road car ever. Lotus has christened its all-new model as 3-Eleven and it is a single seater vehicle.

It is an unique looking machine and sports typical Lotus styling and design. They have also provided this model with racing livery of Green with Yellow racing stripes along the middle.

Side profile of Lotus 3-Eleven is sporty an aerodynamic. They have also provided large racing tyres with disc brakes for all four wheels with red callipers. You will also notice there is no roof, however, Lotus has provided roll-bars just incase the car topples over.

Rear section of Lotus 3-Eleven is dominated by a huge aerodynamic spoiler. It also gets an aerodynamic rear diffuser with a centrally placed exhaust port. The single seater car is a treat to look at and would surely turn heads no matter which angle you look at it from.

The interior is very basic and Lotus has focussed on driving pleasures over creature comforts. British manufacturer has opted for an all-digital speedometer, which provides information on various issues in the vehicle. Lotus will also provide the driver with a 6-point safety harness to keep the occupant within his seat.

All Lotus 3-Eleven models will be hand built at their facility in Hethel, England. Prior to delivery all 3-Eleven vehicles will be completed at Lotus Motorsport dedicated workshop.
