Lexus has developed a new paint that displays the heartbeat of a driver on the vehicle. The Japanese manufacturer has demonstrated this unique technology on their RC F supercar.
When seen under normal conditions the Lexus RC F looks like any other vehicle. An Australian team has used an electro-luminescent paint, which is developed by US specialist Luminor.
This paint reacts to a charge in this case the pulse of a driver in the form of an intense glow. Lexus has demonstrated this in a video, where professional drivers drive around a circuit in the dark.
Sean Hanley, Lexus Australia Chief Executive, expressed, "This latest concept follows other innovative projects we have developed this year, including smart outdoor advertising billboards that respond to the car you're driving and the fantastic new Lexus Hoverboard."
