MINI Enters Goodwood Hillclimb For The First Time
The new MINI John Cooper Works is all set to make an impression this year at the Goodwood Moving Motor Show as MINI is entering for the very first time.
The MINI John Cooper Works will have the most powerful engine ever on a road-going MINI, so spectators will be able to experience performance accompanied by a professional racing instructor.
In total, five John Cooper Works models will be there on the famous Hillclimb course to cater for the huge expected crowds at the show presented by the AA in association with The Telegraph.
The Goodwood-going MINI will be powered by a 2.0-litre, TwinPower Turbo engine that will produce 231 bhp. The suspension, brakes, aerodynamic and interior have been upgraded.
The MINI can reach 62 mph in just 6.3 seconds when equipped with the standard six-speed manual gearbox or 6.1 seconds with the optional six-speed Steptronic sports ‘box.
