JLR Appoint Mark Bishop, Former MD Of Porsche China As Sales Head
oi-Rajkamal
By Rajkamal
Tata owned Jaguar and Land Rover have appointed Mark Bishop, the former Managing Director of Porsche China as the company's new head of sales.
Mark Bishop will oversee JLRs sales and marketing with the company's joint venture with China's Chery Automobile, said the company in a statement.
Jaguar and Land Rover's sales fell by a fifth in China, for the first three months of the year. Bishop has taken over the position of Yi Lu, who was the previous head of sales and marketing. Yi Lu resigned during mid April, due to personal reasons, after serving about a year.
The Deputy President of Sales and Marketing will be taken over by James Hu, who is currently a sales and customer services executive at JLR.
